Success is much more than just making money. It’s more about who we become as a person. There is an old saying, “You learn more from failures than success.” And that’s what this book is about.

I became acquainted with Brian Smith in the 1980s. We worked on the phone together for quite a few years. Brian and I rode the roller coaster of ups and downs, trying to find the right company that wouldn’t leave us in financial distress.

I had forgotten about most of these companies through the years until Brian started writing our story. It has brought back many memories that I appreciate so much. I want to say how much I appreciate his friendship and hard work over the years. He has been very inspiring and a big part of my success.
